Howard University Jazz Ensemble

Howard University Jazz Ensemble (HUJE) was founded in 1975 by its director, Fred Irby, III. I supplied them with album packaging. The design is driven by ideas of nostalgia by use of galaxy-like colors and ripped paper textures. "Nostalgia" was the name of the album originally, but later changed to "Beatrice".
